Sabores de Jalisco- A Personal Branding Initiative
Overview:
Sabores de Jalisco is a project close to my heart, born out of a desire to help my mom formalize her homemade salsa business and build a brand that reflects her heritage and aspirations. Originating from Jalisco, my mom wanted a brand name and identity that not only honored her roots but also offered the flexibility to expand into new ventures. Together, we crafted Sabores de Jalisco, a name that embodies the rich and authentic flavors of her creations while leaving room to grow beyond salsas into products like her current canned jalapeños.
My Role:
Branding and Logo Design: I worked closely with my mom to design a logo that represents her unique identity and vision for the brand, blending elements of her Mexican heritage with a modern appeal.
Strategic Planning: I ensured the brand identity could evolve as she explores new product lines, like her canned jalapeños, ensuring the brand remains versatile and future-focused.
Significance:
This project is a testament to my passion for using marketing to empower small businesses and celebrate culture. Helping my mom bring her vision to life has not only strengthened my branding skills but also allowed me to create something meaningful and deeply personal that connects her heritage with entrepreneurial goals. Introduce this project as a personal initiative to help your mom formalize her homemade salsa business.

Transit App Campaign: Engaging Young Users
Overview:
As part of a class project, I developed an integrated marketing campaign for the Transit App, focusing on how it could better serve and engage young users in Vancouver, WA. Designed TikTok and Instagram Reels featuring user-generated content (UGC) to highlight the app's functionality and ease of use.
Organized on-campus activations, including live app demos and incentives, to connect with students directly.

Proposed a referral program that rewards users for bringing friends to the app.
Partnered with transit authorities to offer discounts for app users, encouraging immediate downloads and usage.

Engagement (Q2): Launched campus events and UGC challenges to build connections.
Promotion (Q3): Rolled out discounts, referral programs, and geotargeted ads.
